🚀 Get Started

Easy Dropdown Menu adds dropdowns to Confluence pages.
Instead of writing free text, users choose predefined values, making page information consistent, searchable, and usable in reports.

This allows Confluence to be used not only as documentation, but also for tracking information such as statuses, approvals, responsibilities, or priorities.

Macros

Easy Dropdown Menu provides four macros for different use cases.

Predefined Macro

Displays a dropdown based on predefined option sets.

Administrators define the predefined sets in the global or space configuration, and users select them on the page.
This ensures standardized data across multiple pages.

Typical use cases:

  • Project status

  • Priority levels

  • Approval states

→ See detailed documentation: Predefined Macro

Status Macro

A configurable replacement for the native Confluence status.

Administrators define the status sets in the global or space configuration and can include custom colors and labels.
All pages use the same status options, guaranteeing consistent reporting.

→ See detailed documentation: Status Macro

Not Predefined Macro

Creates a local dropdown directly inside the page.

The options are defined within the macro itself and are only used on that specific page.
This is useful when structured input is needed without global configuration.

→ See detailed documentation: Not Predefined Macro

Edit Mode Macro

Shows the selected value in view mode but allows editing only in edit mode of the macro.

This keeps pages clean and readable while still allowing controlled user input.

→ See detailed documentation: Edit Mode Macro
