The Predefined Macro inserts a dropdown based on a global or space set.
The selectable options are defined once in the space or global configuration and can then be reused across multiple pages.
Users can change the selected value directly in view mode.
This is the standard macro for creating consistent and reportable data in Confluence.
Reporting & Filtering
Values selected in the Predefined Macro can be used in:
-
Page Property Reports
-
CQL searches
This makes it suitable for building structured overview pages and dashboards.
