Overview

The Page Tree Creator creates a new page tree (result) on the basis of a source page tree (template). The template may include several Placeholders which can be replaced upon creation of the new page tree. This happens in the Create Wizard.

Use the Page Tree Creator to copy any Confluence pages

There are three possible ways to create new content.

1. Via tools menu: Use Copy Page Tree to copy the current page to any target

2. With the PTC Button Macro: Use the PTC Create Pages Button Macro to copy any source page tree

3. Create a PTC Template and select it in the Confluence create from template dialog

Use the Page Tree Creator to create new Confluence spaces

Create a new space from any source page tree. The root page of the source will become the new home page. Select what space details to copy.

1. Via tools menu: Use Create Space or Copy space to create a new space based on the current space.
   With the Create Space the Placeholders will be replaced and with the Copy space they won’t

2. With the PTC Button Macro: Use the PTC Create Space Button Macro to create a new space based on any source
