Button Page Appearance Options

Option

Description

UserNameText

This option is useful if the user wants to print and sign the document on a piece of paper.

The assigned button in the Button Name parameter should be signed first. After the assigned button has been signed, your preferred signature appearance option (i.e. UserNameText, SignatureImage, UserIconImage) will be displayed on the place where you set the Button State Macro.

First line of the signature:
The current date of signing the button will appear first followed by a comma. The user can change the current date in the sign dialogue if he/she wished to do so. The location/place will follow after the comma, which the user can define or change in his/her user profile settings. This location is applied by default to every sign action. The user can change the location for the specific sign action in the sign dialogue.

Space for the signature:
This open space can be used to sign the document if the document has been printed.

Last line of the signature:
The name and surname (references to the name that is defined as the user in Confluence)* of the user who signed the button will appear on the last line of the signature, followed by a comma as well as the position of the user (that can be defined in his/her user profile). This position is applied by default to every sign action. The user can change the position for the specific sign action in the sign dialogue.

*There are two names:
User and Username in Confluence. User is in general the full name, and username is the shorter version i.e. (bod or liz etc.).

SignatureImage

This option is useful if it's not required to print the document and if the user already loaded his/her signature image in the user profile section.
