You can define content for the default placeholder keys in your "Template Configuration" settings. See the section below on "How to access the placeholder key configuration".

Default placeholder keys that's available:

  • __pageTitle__

  • __spaceName__

  • __spaceKey__

  • __userName__

  • __date__

  • __version__

  • __author__

To overwrite the default OOE placeholder values for a specific instance, place the OOE Field Macro on your page by typing { and search for the OneOffixx Exporter Field Macro.

The OOE Field Macro overwrites the global value of the selected placeholder.   


How access the placeholder key configuration

Follow these steps to access the OOE configuration settings:

  1. Click on the "Settings" button in the top right-hand corner of your Confluence page.

  2. Click on the "General configuration" menu item.

  3. Once the side navigation appears, scroll down to the "OneOffixx Exporter Plugin Configuration" section, then click on the "Templates" menu item.

How to define a default placeholder key:

  1. Click on the "Add" button, insert the placeholder key (i.e. __pageTitle__) and placeholder value which you want to define (keep the default placeholder key list in mind as mentioned in the introduction paragraph).

  2. Click "Save".


How to overwrite the default placeholder key value

To overwrite the default OOE placeholder keys for a specific instance, place the OOE Field Macro on your page by typing { and search for the OneOffixx Exporter Field Macro.

  1. Select the placeholder key ID you want to overwrite.

  2. The field content will be hidden on your Confluence page if the “Hide Field Content” option is checked, but will still be visible when exporting the document to Word/PDF.

  3. To overwrite the default placeholder value, insert your content in the text area of the OOE Field Macro.
