Can’t change option from the excerpt include macro on the parent page

Description

When you have a dropdown inside the excerpt include macro on the child page it’s not possible to change the option from the excerpt include on the parent page.

Solution

There is currently no possible workaround. This is not possible by Atlassian. There is an open Jira Ticket for the feature request: https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/CONFSERVER-94977 If you have this issue please report on the ticket that it also effects your team so that Atlassian can implement it sooner.

Dropdowns aren’t allowing changes in Page Property Report Macro

Description

When using dropdowns in a Page Property Report macro that has two or more pages, then the dropdowns are locked. Therefore is it only possible to change the dropdown values on the original page.

Example and Solution

Example

To reproduce the issue, create two pages with a Page Property macro that has some Easy Dropdown Menu macros in it. Then add the same label to both pages, so we can find them later in the Page Property Report macro.

On a third page now add the Page Property Report Macro, choose the correct label and set the parameter Number of items to display to 1. When saving the page, the dropdowns will be locked in the report.

Solution

There is currently one workaround:

There is a parameter Number of items to display in the Page Property Report macro where you can select how many items should be shown on each page of results. Setting the number so high that all results are shown on one page will resolve the issue.

Space Sets are not copied when copying a page to another space

Description

When using a EDM set in a page that was defined in the space settings and copying that page to another space, the used EDM space set is not copied to the target space. We are implementing a new feature that enables the Page Tree Creator to copy the sets when copying the pages.

Example and Solution

Example

To reproduce the issue, create a new EDM set in the space settings. Use this set on a page on that space. Copy now that page with the new EDM set created from the space settings to another space. In the other space the options are displayed but when you want to edit the dropdown the space set is not available. The space set should be be copied to the target Space.

Solution

There is currently one workaround:

Create the EDM set not in the space but rather in the global settings. Then there won’t be a problem when copying pages to other spaces.
